MusiCounts

You Can Make a Difference - Volunteer Now

The Problem:
MusiCounts gives instrument grants to schools and community organizations across Canada, but can only help 1 in 5 applicants. There are still many youth who need our help to access music education.

How Volunteers Help MusiCounts
By volunteering you can help MusiCounts raise awareness and fundraise, which will give more kids across Canada access to the benefits of music.

What Volunteers Do:
Volunteers help raise awareness and funds for MusiCounts at various activations and events. Some examples of volunteer duties at these include: selling 50/50 raffle tickets or other items, assisting with event set up and tear down, assisting with event execution.

What Volunteers Gain:
When you volunteer with MusiCounts you’re a music education champion, and you will gain skills in areas such as event management, fundraising, communications and relationship-building. Plus, it feels great knowing you’re helping put instruments into the hands of kids who need them most all across Canada! MusiCounts is happy to provide a letter acknowledging  your volunteer support.
