MusiCounts Recognizes Six Scholarship Recipients

MusiCounts recognized six post-secondary students from across Canada with their MusiCounts Scholarship at a special award presentation and industry networking event at Dine Alone Records in Toronto. The students were joined by music industry professionals, many who led workshops and sessions for the recipients throughout the MusiCounts Scholarship Mentorship Week. The sessions throughout the week gave the recipients an opportunity to meet industry leaders, and learn about various areas of the music business.

The MusiCounts Scholarship presented in part by the RBC Foundation’s Emerging Artist Project and Indspire, recognizes post-secondary students who demonstrate excellence, display a commitment to music in their community and show a consistently high level of achievement in their careers to date. Each student was nominated by their post-secondary institution and intend to pursue a career in one of the following streams: performing artist, music production/recording arts, or music business.
