BUD LIGHT DREAMS ANNOUNCES SUPPORT OF MUSICOUNTS
AND YOUTH MUSIC PROGRAMS ACROSS CANADA
For a third year, Bud Light Dreams Music Festival, formerly known as Bud Light Digital Dreams, will support MusiCounts, a charity dedicated to keeping music alive in schools and communities across Canada. MusiCounts’ mission is to ensure that children in Canada have access to a music program through their school or community.
$1 from every Bud Light Dreams Music Festival ticket will be donated to MusiCounts, the music education charity associated with The JUNO Awards. The MusiCounts Band Aid Program provides instruments to school music programs in need across Canada. Since 2016 Dreams has donated over $40,000 to MusiCounts, supporting up to 8 schools and thousands of students with new instruments.
“MusiCounts is such a natural fit for the festival,” says Mark Russell, Festival Director, Bud Light Dreams. “Many of the people working on the festival and our fans were touched as kids by music programs in our schools. It’s a great feeling for all of us to be able to give back to music programs in schools across Canada.”
