MusiCounts Leadership Circle Event Raises $250,000 for MusiCounts

In early 2016 Stephen Stohn and Linda Schuyler made an extraordinary pledge of up to $500,000 in matching funds to MusiCounts. Thus the MusiCounts Leadership Circle was created. This is a group of individuals who have made a substantial gift to MusiCounts and pledge to be an ambassador for the charity and for music education.

The MusiCounts Leadership Circle fundraising event in Toronto last week raised a total of $250,000 for the MusiCounts Band Aid Program! Thank you to everyone who attended, especially those who made a generous donation.

The event featured a performance from JUNO Award winning artist, Johnny Reid, who sang his hit song “Today I’m Gonna Try and Change The World” along with students from James Culnan Catholic School. The event was held in Stephen Stohn and Linda Schuyler’s home, hosted by MusiCounts ambassadors, Bob and Jan Ezrin.

Thank you to all of the MusiCounts Leadership Circle donors who are helping to ensure that children and youth across Canada have access to music in their schools.
