canadian-smooth-jazz-awards-whiteThe 2009 Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards held on April 24, 2009 at the Living Arts Centre, Missisauga not only celebrated special performances and honoured great Canadian and international instrumental and vocal musicians but also the Awards made a special contribution to MusiCounts to nurture and develop young talent.

As Mary Kirk, CSJA, Chair shared, “Our Awards show is not for profit as you know but has wonderful sponsors who believe in encouraging musicians to follow their dreams and thus make their donations. We are happy to be able to share some of that generosity with you so that young students are able to get a start and perhaps become inspired to work towards a career in music and one day a nomination for an award.
